The only way around it is to sim the first playoff game, it will play your starters, and if you're lucky enough to win, by the second playoff game they should also play. You have to manage reps - I generally set “full pads split” in preseason - week 1 I do “half pads back ups” then from then on out I go half pads split for remainder of season.
