The weight would be nice if I had to pull heavy things around. But it would be harder to haul behind my 1500 Ram 4x4.The MX5400 has a little over 10 more horsepower, while the 4044M has a higher hydraulic capacity. If you're buying it for PTO or ground work, I would call the Kubota a very good deal for the extra power. For loader work, probably the Deere has the advantage if that would be your primary use.
