Most generally will only wear it if it's armor. There's a trick for that. 1 Give them a full set of op armor so that they equip it. 2 dismiss your follower but don't allow them to escape the room. 3 sneak and open the pickpocket menu.Ancient Nord, Blades and Thieves Guild look good, and Dragonscale is passable. If you count DLC items, the Dawnguard Heavy and Light armors look great, probably my favorite sets from the vanilla game and DLCs. As for AE upgrade or CC armor, Spell Knight is incredible.
