Interesting project I came up with to be able to make a cheap and easy blanket pin. It's lighter and smaller than the standard, heavy brass one but functions.... Loyalsource okta

All-in-all I spent 60 dollars on enough fabric to make myself a cloak, and maybe even enough to make my girlfriend one as well. I'll at least be able to make her a shorter, half circle cloak.
