If you don't see anything in the windshield, start lifting it up and see if it comes into view. All of this while sitting in the driver seat looking forward obviously.Open the radio up and take look inside to see if there is a ribbon cable connecting the display module to the main PCB. If there is, unplug it and plug it back in a time or two then check to see if that corrects the problem. So just look at the years and pictures of both trucks that were available in 2007, one being the classic which was a gmt800, or the nnbs 2007 which is a gmt900.After that, it's the detailer's/body shop's problem to fix. They'll most likely go through a reprogram, it helps some of the time, but most likely the dealer is going to have to replace the unit. When I first purchased it, it seemed like it was working consistently. Over the past few weeks I've noticed it won't show up at all (blank) or it will work for a few minutes and then go away.My dash lights have been progressively getting dimmer during the day to the point I cannot read my odometer. I have change the dimmer control light switch which did not help. (Unless when I bought a new one it was bad as well !!!) During the night the dimmer works fine.
