The Gen 3 Glocks all used a different barrel/locking block lug for each size of gun.the exception to this has to do with the subcompacts as both the Gen 3 and the Gen 4 have the duel RSA. as to whether 38 slide will run 100% on the 19 frame, until you try it, you'll not know, think of it as similar to 9mm conversion barrels in 40 S&W pistols, some run 100% with just a barrel swap and caliber specific mags, some need internals ... I've seen posts with a Dagger Compact slide on a Glock 26/27 frame. Also, a Lonewolf dust cover to cover the gap between the shorter frame and the bottom of the slide front. Hope that works. The Holosun 407k/507k are sub-compact sights, while the 407c/507c are for FULL SIZED pistols. RMR is a full size cut. RMRc is a sub-compact cut.
