Get your dex up to 45, that will increase your casting speed and give the scythe tons of damage. I have the Untrue Dark ring cuz I'm stupid and like not looking like a dark phantom. But this could easily be a Karthas ring for easier dodge rolls. I use Pyro parting Flame from the Painting DLC in my right hand BUT you DON'T need the strength requirement to use it!.
