A little late to post but I'm doing a dex knight build with brass shield (Carian parry), bandit curved sword (lightning slash, lightning affinity), and a backup bandit curved sword (also lightning) for bosses that can't be parried. Been pretty great overall, guard counter and parrying are both satisfying and not much is resistant to lightning.Curved swords are great for bleed builds because they hit a lot of times very quickly. The running L1 for example hits four times with only one attack, which will help you build up bleed very quickly. The drawback is they have very short range. Katanas are slower hitting but have greater range.Str / arc with Blood Beastman's Curved Swords will be better than the dex / arc Bandit's Curved Sword equivalent. But, Beastman's Curved Sword is a late game item so Bandit's will be better for the early game.
